Hamburger Kammerorchester Chamber Orchestra
The Hamburg Chamber Orchestra offers outstanding musicians the freedom to realise their own interpretations in an artistic environment. Founded in 2022 on the initiative of ARD prizewinner Christian Kunert and Sony Classical artist Niklas Liepe, we bring together top musicians from Hamburg.
Our ensemble is made up of established professional musicians and outstanding young talents who share a passion for music alongside their day-to-day performing or teaching at universities.
The Hamburg Chamber Orchestra strives for creative freedom and independence - this allows us to focus on the enthusiasm of the musicians. We are convinced that this is the only way to create the unique sound that fills the concert hall with energy and passion, be it in quiet or powerful moments.
Every project we take on is decided by us alone, which gives us the opportunity to create and present music at the highest level - entirely according to our own ideas and convictions.
