Luminitza Petre Conductor
Luminitza Petre is a violinist, conductor, founder of "Camerata Enescu" and "Trio Petre". After graduating from the Bucharest Academy of Music, with Prof. V. Rogacev, C. Bronzetti, Luminitza Petre, violin has successfully completed masterclasses with Prof. Zachar Bron (Vienna), Valeri Gradow (Mannheim), Stefan Gheorghiu (Schöntal, Bucharest).
In addition to her engagement as concertmaster with the Stuttgart State Orchestra, Luminitza Petre has been invited to perform with the International Bach Academy Stuttgart, the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn, the Hessischer Rundfunk Frankfurt am Main, concert tours have taken her to major stages in Stuttgart, Mannheim, Bayreuth, Heidelberg, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Berlin, Milan, Strasbourg, Madrid, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Viena, Budapesta, Tokyo and Tokushima.
Luminitza Petre has received concert invitations from renowned international festivals such as "La Folle journée" Nantes, "Aix en provence" "Edinburgh Festival", "Bayreuth Festival" and the "George Enescu" International Festival, Bucharest (2019, 2021).
Her double CD with the complete J.S. Bach sonatas and partitas for violin solo was nominated for the Academy Award, after recordings with the "Clara Wieck" piano trio "Signum" Heidelberg, "Bietigheimer Kammersimfonie", "Electrecord", Radio Bucharest.
As a conductor, she has successfully completed masterclasses with mentors such as Jorma Panula, Colin Metters and Salvatore Masconde in Nuremberg, Helsinki, Moscow and Vienna.
She has conducted in the chamber concert series of the Stuttgart State Orchestra, the Runfunk Chamber Orchestra Bucharest, Philharmonic Orchestra "Banatul Timisoara, as well as Philharmonic Orchestras in Sibiu, Oradea, Ploiesti, Botosani, Choir and Orchestra of the Opera Brasov.
In the summer of 2020, during the pandemic period, Luminitza Petre, together with Adrian Vasile -viola and Horațiu Ludușan-cello, founded "Trio Petre".
Thanks to the special string sound culture, the "Trio Petre" has quickly established itself in Romanian musical life and has given concerts at the Goethe Institute Bucharest, "Filarmonica Banatul" Timisoara, "George Enescu" Philharmonic Orchestra Bucharest in the "Atheneum", among others.
